Mavka's journey at Berlinale!

Every February, filmmakers from across the globe converge in Berlin for one of the most significant film festivals, as well as alongside numerous ancillary events such as the EFM film market.

Mavka found herself among the invitees to the German capital, participating in several engagements.

She became a highlight of Cafe Kyiv, a significant event dedicated to Ukraine. This year, the event attracted more than 5,000 guests and was personally opened by the Mayor of Berlin, Kai Wegner, and the Ambassador of Ukraine to Germany, Oleksiy Makeev.

The event's intense film program commenced with a screening of our movie, featuring producer Iryna Kostyuk. Following the screening, the international audience had the opportunity to engage with the producer and delve deeper into the enchanting Universe of Mavka.

On the very same day, Iryna Kostyuk received an invitation to join the annual exclusive gathering hosted by the animation department of the German Producers Alliance. Here, she shared the story of Mavka's success with her peers in the industry.
