Mavka’s Image Through Your Eyes: Guests of LINOLEUM International Contemporary Animation and Media Art Festival portrayed their own vision of Protagonist for Mavka. The Forest Song

From September 28 till October 1, Oleksandr Dovzhenko National Center hosted LINOLEUM, a festival of actual animation and media arts. Except the competition program, festival guests had a range of educational events to choose from, as well as an interactive program supported by LINOLEUM festival partners and Animagrad studio. 

Together with Wacom Ukraine, the team of Mavka. The Forest Song project held a creative competition “Mavka’s Image Through your Eyes”: over the weekend, the guests of Dovzhenko Center drew the animated film`s protagonist, trying to answer the question how they see Mavka. Within two days, Wacom Ukraine received over 30 applications with the participants’ drawings. 

The winner of the competition is Ksenia Tatarintseva who received a special prize from Wacom, an Intuos Comic tablet with apps for creation and animation of characters.
