The video showcases exclusive episodes that reveal plot twists and includes a brand-new soundtrack performed by famous Ukrainian singers Khrystyna Soloviy and Artem Pyvovarov. Animagrad studio (FILM.UA Group) unveils a star-studded voice cast for the Ukrainian version of MAVKA. THE FOREST SONG animated feature film in a special video. It features Kateryna Osadcha, Nina Matvienko, Nazar Zadniprovskiy, Oleg Skrypka, Oleg Fagot Mykhailyta, musicians of the ethno band DakhaBrakha and Serhiy Prytula, whose acting career ended following his work on MAVKA.

The most anticipated Ukrainian animated film MAVKA. THE FOREST SONG, produced by Animagrad studio (FILM.UA Group), is set for domestic theatrical release on March 2. Despite the full-scale war, the studio finished the work on the project at the end of the last year, as it was planned in a peaceful time. So, eventually, in the early spring, the premiere will take place in all Ukrainian cinemas that are available now.

Universal Pictures Content Group has acquired All French distribution rights for the animated feature film MAVKA. THE FOREST SONG by Animagrad studio (FILM.UA Group). MAVKA. THE FOREST SONG’s producers are excited for their film to be fully dubbed into French, including the soundtrack, for a planned theatrical release.

MAVKA. THE FOREST SONG feature film (produced by Animagrad, FILM.UA Group) has got а new licensing partner — Ukrainian company Belietazh, which owns brands Anabel Arto and Obrana. This collaboration started a year ago, but designers were forced to finalize the manufacturing process during wartime. Starting from June 26, the limited collection inspired by Mavka's Universe is available in boutiques across Ukraine and on Anabel Arto's official website.

Ukraine’s Animagrad studio (FILM.UA Group) presents a video featuring a new scene from the most anticipated Ukrainian animated film MAVKA. THE FOREST SONG accompanied by a soundtrack “Vesnyanka” (spring folk song) by DakhaBrakha ethno band and showcasing a Ukrainian ritual dance of greeting a new spring. For the first time, the viewers will be able to see Mavka’s new unique image — she is wearing authentic Ukrainian garments. The creative team dedicated the video to the unbroken spirit and courage of Ukrainians.

Ukraine’s Animagrad animation studio (FILM.UA Group) is at the final stage of production of the much anticipated animated feature film MAVKA. THE FOREST SONG. Despite the full scale war unraveled by russia, the work continues, and the project will be delivered according to the plan, in Q4 2022. MAVKA is the headliner of the studio’s lineup of projects, with many countries having already acquired the rights. Now, the release of the film will be even a more significant and symbolic event for Ukrainians than ever, since not only the project showcases the unique ancient Ukrainian culture, but also celebrates the victory of love and peace.

“MAVKA. THE FOREST SONG” ANIMATED FILM SETS FOR DECEMBER RELEASE AND PRESENTS NEW TRAILER

The most anticipated animated feature from Ukraine, MAVKA. THE FOREST SONG, launches its international trailer and  announces the date of its theatrical release and the star-studded voice cast of the local version. The film by Animagrad Studio (FILM.UA Group) that produced THE STOLEN PRINCESS (2018), will premiere in theaters domestically on December 29, 2022. The International release will be announced at a later date. The project and new video materials will be presented at the online European Film Market in Berlin, February 10-17, where EFM participants will also have a chance to attend two online screenings of the movie.
